The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your home and organize cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles will stop it from running into furniture, wires, or stray toys. These are must-have features in my house, filled with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, so it naturally comes with a host of features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and raise its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pets, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it from becoming stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also has mop lifter that will lift the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

In addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or change the dust bag every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for best automatic vacuum cleaner around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've test.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very tempting choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuum and mops. We highly recommend this model if you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust feature set, which includes the capacity to automatic vacuum and mop large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed well, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, then refills the water tank to mop and also dry mop pads. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions using its intelligent controls.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops I've test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. Additionally, its mops aren't as adept at removing stubborn stains as those found in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features it still requires regular maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. The mop pads sold separately also require replacement every few months.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone who has the money for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest considering a less basic model that will allow you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to remember that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum mop and robotic vacuum you can find but its high cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop combination is a mighty suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It has a roller-mop that cleans itself and makes it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept away into the front bumper. The S1 Pro dumps mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank that is onboard is able to hold a large amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you decide to choose to use this feature you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaning products.

Like many robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my testing, but this may be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop, but it still has some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a good bit of an area before returning to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair on carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start an entire map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can pick specific rooms, Robot Vacuums with Mop expandable zones or even a routine that you've created. There are a number of mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the space.

The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic manner. The 'Normal" pathing setting covers a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well too, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

This device has a major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up" at the end of each session. The vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition, and it helps the robot vacuums uk clean up a little bit better than its less expensive competitors.
