Following a string of social media posts hinting at it, Italian supercar-maker Lamborghini has finally announced its first NFT (non-fungible token) project. Dubbed Space Key and developed in collaboration with an unknown artist It is built on a piece of advanced carbon fiber composite material that was shipped to the International Space Station for research purposes.

The new project - called the Space Key - is a piece of art created in collaboration with an artist who is not known. The one-of-a-kind NFT is a tangible object which connects to a unique digital artwork accessible through an QR code on the back. The project is limited and will be auctioned off within the coming weeks.

Oefner utilized an inflatable camera fitted with a lens to capture individual images, workshop which were later put together into the final image.
