If you're looking for a robot hoover and mop vacuum that also mops then this is the model to look for. It's smaller than other models on this list making it easier to maneuver through tight corners and under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it some of my favorite navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It has a 4600mAh battery that can last up to 170 minutes when mopping and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery mid-clean.

It's very efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways in just one motion. Its 8,000pa suction motor will quickly pick up dirt, crumbs, and pet hair. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help pull out debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, though not by a lot. The mop rotates quickly and makes use of 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a bit more than other robots. This is useful in narrow corners or along baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to scoop up larger debris such as books and toys that have been damaged.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've tested. It is quieter and doesn't produce more noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a exclusive cleaning solution for its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum. It's simple to set up and performs well, but this is something that you'll have to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum for the sole purpose of mopping.

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a wide range of features.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum with mop vacuum is the most expensive in our review. It does however, have certain unique features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's main draw is its huge dock which doubles as the robot's charging base and housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a cleaning sink as well as the 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically empties.

The base has a couple of buttons for control that allow you to manually start a cleaning task or recall the robot, or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to turn off the child lock that is a great touch for parents worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni, like other robotic vacuums, utilizes its camera to identify obstacles and furniture in its path. It will avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

The X1 can be prone to become stuck if it is entangled in a blockage like a power cable tangled over a rug. It won't work until you remove it manually. While this was rare but it was a very frustrating experience when it happened particularly since the X1 Omni doesn't have an "stuck" status alert in its application.

The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You will need to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't a big deal except for the fact that mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between uses, which can lead to mildew or mold.

On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a huge departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. And it's an impressive sight in a market dominated by clunky boxes.
