Upgrades give you boosts in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item level Upgrade (holt-brooks-3.Hubstack.net) by 3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.

Upgraded gear generally sees greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variance (like eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of weapon or armor. However, the item used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.

The upgrader is located in every major city, and can be visited at any time to upgrade your equipment. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each several weeks.

Upgrades are functional items that can be used to upgrade weapons and tools, armor and accessories. They can be purchased by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for various currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor using the help of button, which will show a preview of the item upgrade at its next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the item slot, and the current item level. For example, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers.
