World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. They also increase bonuses such as damage from PvE and crit chance.

If the weapon's upgrade template ends in %, it will be able to gain 3percent of its previous damage every time it's upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with the item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons and armor in order to provide them with a boost in stats or an extra effect. They can be acquired through crafting, buying from vendors, trading or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to devices that have slots. The item must be at least upgraded to a blue level before the component can be applied. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and can't be used multiple times or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a particular kind of upgrade component that is that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment, as well as some of the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging gear from the ascended, or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, which alters the name of the item level upgrade it's applied to (for instance, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions of the item using less upgrade crystals than they need to reach the same level with normal methods.

A boost upgrade is a way to modify the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be made using the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed Mechanic. These upgrades are available for purchase them in the cash shop or by collecting them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

The player can get a maximum of five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-level version of the item will appear in the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep upgrading their gear even if they're uncertain of how much they'll increase after a future reset.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process may be costly and there is a significant risk that the item may become obsolete or even break if it fails. A failure to upgrade can ruin the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item upgrader mod. Cash shop items can be used to minimize or eliminate the possibility of failure. Some upgrades also offer the player a bonus if they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade parts that can be placed in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the power of all nodes in their radius, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways, and we recommend getting them to level 15 whenever you can.

In the final game you'll often discover that the best way to improve your equipment is to use Glyphs. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded directly to level 15, and they provide a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes much faster.

Glyphs, the sole upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and replaced with no restrictions are the most popular. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

Each Glyph has a specific range of values can enhance a stat by. The value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you'll require them to be put on your gear. Leveling

Some upgrades require a special ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab in the crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed results in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to the upgrading of an item. Once enough points are earned you will be eligible to claim the upgrade and also receive the bonuses.

When a player upgrades an item it is replaced with a new item of the same kind. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item upgrade will have a unique bonus. This can be a disadvantage, as it can make the item more expensive, even if you don't require it.

Upgrades to items can be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens to do so. This causes the item to be exchanged for a new one, which will have the level 1 base, and a completely different set of extra bonuses. This is a good option for certain items, however it's not something that should be performed frequently, since it can use up many resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled multiple times to increase their value, giving players the ability to alter their gear. All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Each when you upgrade an item, it has the chance to fail. When an item upgrade is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to the highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded gains a crit chance increase, the increase will be applied prior to any damage to attack increases. A new attribute called Slots has been added to the definition of the item and the value is computed each time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item are based on its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a standard equipment item might have 5 upgrades with a cost of 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items have a lower cost per upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they might require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. Whatever the case, players will need to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each equipment upgrade will require the use of different upgrade ingredients.
