Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save your home's maps and create cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and how much water the mop is using.

A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These features are vital in my home that is filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum cleaner, so it naturally comes packed with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in a single session and even raise its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to recognize pets, plants and other small objects.

The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vacuum that vacuums and mops vacuum we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in deep cleaning. It also has mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

In addition to this it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock, and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. You can set it to forget about it. You will only need to replenish the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it started to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've test.

It's a complete and robust product, with its only downsides being that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very appealing option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this model if you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot hoover and mop vacuum and mop combination. Its high-end price is justified by its robust feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well across the house. It removed 98.4 percent of debris from any type of floor and managed to lift hair that was long without getting caught in. The mops were also excellent, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's most significant selling point is its innovative docking station that is multi-functional. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, refills the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry your mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid mop I tried. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be emptied and the water tank and dust bag must be emptied, cleaned and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are bought separately must be replaced regularly too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. For those who are on a smaller budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could find but its cost and constant maintenance will make it more of an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts an enormous battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It has a mop with a roller that cleans by itself, making it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you do opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my tests, but this may be improved as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot vacuums that mop's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of a space before it has to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair from carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers many options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean every area that is that are mapped by this device, or select specific rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. There are several mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the mops' sensors to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the area.

The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just as all Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system is reliable, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized fashion. The 'Normal" pathing option covers a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets with thick padding, but may not be able detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

The one glaring flaw of this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be an issue for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's an easy solution: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up", at the end of each session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and traces that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition and helps the robot make its clean better than its cheaper rivals.
